Scope of Work
The IDIQ will encompass maintenance and repair work during CNO Availabilities, including:
- Preservation: Touch-up painting, blasting, preservation, and surface preparation for main ballast tanks (MBTs), chain locker, sump, superstructure, underwater hull, and sternplanes. Requires SSPC Abrasive Blasting (C7), Spray Application (C12), and Marine Plural Component Program (MPCAC, C14) Certifications. Company must be QP-1 certified.
- Non-SUBSAFE Structural Repair: Basemetal build-up and structural member removal/replacement based on URO MRC 003 inspections. Requires NDT procedures meeting T9074-AS-GIB-010/271 Rev 1.
- Lead Bin Work: Repair, fabrication, conversion, de-ballasting, and re-ballasting of free flood lead bins. Personnel must be medically cleared, capable of handling 80lb lead, and qualified in PPE, Lead Awareness, OSH, Fall Protection, Hearing Conservation, Eye Safety, and confined/enclosed spaces.
