Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the sale of scrap metal residue derived from a Mutilation/Demilitarization as Condition of Sale (M/DCOS) contract. This is a one-time sale with a 21-business day performance period. The property is located at Warner Robins AFB, GA.

• The material consists primarily of aluminum (at least 50% of total weight) from aircraft wreckage, grounded or obsolete airframes, and the DEMIL process of tactical/combat aircraft.

• Demilitarization/Mutilation operations are required, with Agency Verifiers present.

• No parts harvesting is authorized.

• All military markings and data plates must be destroyed.

• Purchaser must provide all equipment and conveyance for DEMIL and removal.

• Purchaser must use on-site certified scales for weighing.

• This is a one-time sale.

• Performance Period: 21 Business days to remove and demilitarize/mutilate the material.

• Payment: Full payment must be received prior to the removal of any property.

• Bids must be submitted using SF114 and SF114A.

• Bids must be valid for 90 calendar days from bid opening.
