Scope of Work
The U.S. Government seeks an industrial-grade metal 3D printer, specifically an Xact Metal XM200G or equivalent, with the following minimum capabilities:
- Build Volume: At least 150 mm x 150 mm x 150 mm.
- Material Compatibility: Natively support and print Copper, Aluminum, Cast Iron, and Steel alloys.
- Safety: Include necessary environmental/safety mechanisms for metal powder bed fusion. The requirement also includes delivery, installation, configuration, calibration, verification of full operational capability, and manufacturer-led training to certify Soldiers in safe and effective operation.
