Scope of Work
The awarded contracts will provide professional services for the inspection, analysis, load rating, and design of highway, railroad, and pedestrian bridges, as well as waterfront facilities (e.g., piers, wharfs, bulkheads). This includes initial, routine, special, underwater, and non-redundant steel tension member (NSTM) inspections. Services encompass various engineering disciplines such as civil, structural, hydraulic, geotechnical, environmental, electrical, mechanical, surveying, mapping, CADD, and architectural design. Deliverables include studies, sketches, conceptual drawings, cost estimates, specifications (using CSI format and SPECSINTACT EDITOR), contract drawings, and design analyses. Firms must adhere to specific Government standards, ensure quality control, and comply with safety (SPRAT Level III, dive safety) and security (AT Level I) requirements.
