• The purpose of this amendment is to add questions and answer responses. See Attachment.

• The solicitation is amended as set forth in Item 14.

• The hour and date specified for receipt of offers is extended.

• Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the hour and date specified in the solicitation or as amended.

• Failure to acknowledge may result in rejection of the offer.

• Changes to offers already submitted must be made via letter or electronic communication referencing the solicitation and this amendment, and received prior to the opening hour and date specified.

Questions & Answers / Clarifications

This document provides responses to vendor questions regarding appliance specifications for the opportunity.

• Dryer Type: Dryers are electric and require a 4-prong 240V connection. Images of the plug and outlet are provided.
• Washer Specifications: Washers use standard US 3-prong 110V plugs and require hot and cold water lines with drains, similar to residential hookups.

This clarification provides specific electrical and plumbing requirements for dryers and washers, which bidders should consider when preparing their proposals.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This document is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, serving as the sole solicitation for this requirement. It is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for eight (8) Industrial Washers and eight (8) Industrial Dryers. The acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.

• Procurement of eight (8) industrial washers and eight (8) industrial dryers.

• Installation and removal of the equipment.

• The washers must be commercial heavy-duty top-load, with a minimum 16 lb dry weight capacity, stainless steel cylinder, and a minimum 1/2 HP motor.

• The dryers must be commercial electric, with a minimum 18 lb capacity and a minimum 1/3 HP motor.

• Detailed salient characteristics for both washers and dryers are provided, focusing on functional and dimensional requirements.

• Anticipated contract type: Firm-Fixed Price.

• The government reserves the right to make multiple awards for different line items.

• Period of performance: Delivery required by April 9, 2026. Early deliveries will be accepted.

• Offers are due by March 25, 2026, at 1400 ET.

• Quotes will be evaluated on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis.

• Evaluation criteria include Price and Technical Acceptability.

• Technical Acceptability requires meeting or exceeding salient characteristics, clear identification of brand/model or equivalent, and submission of descriptive literature.

• Past Performance will also be evaluated.

• Offerors must hold prices for 90 calendar days from the offer due date.

• This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.

• The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 335220.

• The small business size standard is $15K.

• Installation and removal are included in the scope.

• Old appliances are to be removed and disposed of by the vendor.

• Delivery is FOB Destination.
