Purpose

Scope of Work

The requirement is for a one-time purchase of 10 Infusion Pumps, Multitherapy, Ambulatory to replace existing inventory at the Hematology/Oncology Clinic. These pumps are essential for continuous chemotherapy infusion for patients in their homes.

Key Requirements / Deliverables

  • System Approval: FDA approved with no unresolved recalls.
  • Functionality: Designed for chemotherapy infusion in a home environment, using intravenous delivery via a linear peristaltic pump mechanism.
  • Device Specifications: Must be within life expectancy, not identified for discontinuation, and include indicators, alarms (e.g., stream occlusion, air in line, system malfunction, low battery), and dose error reduction.
  • Portability: Lightweight (2-3 pounds) for ease of transport.
  • Flow Rate: Adjustable flow range of 0-100 Continuous / 0-500 Bolus, adjustable by 0.05ml/hr, using a proprietary cassette/IV bag reservoir.
  • Features: Capable of providing an event log, requires a security key/code, and must be compatible with central lines.
  • Documentation: Two copies of operator/user manuals and reprocessing instructions.
  • Authorization: Seller must be an authorized dealer, distributor, or reseller.
  • Warranty & Service: OEM warranty required, with a separate quote for a five-year service cost.
  • Training: Onsite training for three nurses and two clinical engineers.
  • Installation: Authorized OEM installer, scheduled 5 business days prior to award, responsible for tools, equipment, and trash disposal. Specific procedures for post and hospital access apply.
  • Delivery: No later than 30 calendar days from award, during business hours (08:00-15:00 MST), Monday-Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. No partial deliveries. Seller responsible for offloading and inside delivery.
