Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of a new three-tier layered CRN (Access, Distribution, Core) at Ellsworth AFB. This includes design, procurement, installation, and configuration. The project requires maintaining the existing NIPRNET-supported Integrated Base Defense Security Systems (IBDSS) concurrently during the transition phase. The network must be expandable for future facilities. The scope also covers providing comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) of the CRN during implementation, preparing a detailed turnover package, and delivering training to incoming network managers. Approximately 54 legacy and 9 new facilities will be transitioned to the new CRN.
