Quick Summary
The Department of Labor (DOL), on behalf of the Employment and Training Administration (ETA), Office of Apprenticeship (OA), is soliciting proposals for Advancing Artificial Intelligence Skills in Registered Apprenticeships (RFP 1605C2-26-R-00003). This Unrestricted opportunity seeks a contractor to expand Registered Apprenticeship (RA) programs in AI-related occupations and integrate AI education across various industries. - Expand RA programs in "AI-centric" occupations (those directly using, building, or managing AI technologies), aiming for up to 20 or more new AI-centric occupations developed per base/option year.
- Expand RA programs in AI infrastructure occupations by providing technical assistance and supporting program development.
- Publish reports, develop frameworks, convene events, and provide subject matter expertise.
- Develop curricula and training outlines, and conduct outreach and recruitment to engage stakeholders.
- Review and vet a minimum of 25 apprenticeable occupation requests per base/option year.
