Scope of Work

The contractor will provide ground-based survey and herbicide application services for targeted noxious weeds. Key tasks include:

  • Roadside Spot Treatments: Motorized survey and treatment within 25-50 feet of paved, graded, gravel, and dirt roads using handheld sprayers or UTVs (ATVs not permitted).
  • General Tasks: Surveying assigned acreages (estimated minimum 300 acres/year, with approximately 1,000 acres for the base year), mixing and applying specified herbicides, completing daily treatment records, and collecting electronic data, including GPS tracks.
  • Performance Standards: At least 90% of treated weeds must show signs of herbicide treatment. Daily records and electronic data submission are required within 14 days of treatment. A Quality Control Plan is due within 30 days of award, with daily self-inspections.

Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Firm Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with multiple awards.
  • Period of Performance:
    • Base Year: June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2027
    • Option Year I: June 1, 2027 – May 31, 2028

Key Requirements & Compliance

  • Personnel: Must be experienced in noxious weed management, plant identification, and herbicide application. Applicators require a current Wyoming Commercial Pesticide Applicators License. Site Manager needs this license and two years of experience.
