Three lots of material are offered for sale:

• Lot 1: Expended Mixed Caliber Casings (50cal. & below), approximately 51,000 lbs.
• Lot 2: Mixed Caliber Casing Containing Plastic Tipped and Chrome Casings, approximately 5,400 lbs.
• Lot 3: Aluminum Mixed Caliber Casing with Brass Primer, approximately 1,300 lbs.

All lots are sold "as is" for scrap-metal purposes only. Sales are final. The listed volumes are minimums; actual quantities may exceed estimates by up to 20%.

• Payment is due prior to transfer of material, by bank draft or cashier's check payable to "U.S. Treasury." Cash payments are not accepted.

• Material must be picked up within fifteen (15) business days of award.

• An administrative charge will be imposed for late payments, dishonored checks, failure to pick up material, or failure to return NRSW QRP property.

• Bids must be submitted via email to cnrsw-qrpsales@us.navy.mil.

• Bids must be received no later than 12:00 P.M. (Pacific Time) on 14 April 2026.

• Each lot will be awarded to the highest bidder. In case of a tie, bidders will be notified to submit revised bids within one hour.

• The buyer must destroy all purchased property by melting, shredding, or an equivalent method that precludes recognition or reconstruction.

• No specific set-aside requirements are mentioned.

• Bidders are strongly advised to inspect the materials prior to bidding. Failure to inspect will not be grounds for post-award claims.

• Offer rigging is a federal felony criminal offense. Report suspected violations.

• The buyer assumes all liability for taxes and transactions related to the property. The government assumes no liability for damages or injury arising from the purchase, possession, handling, or use of the materials.
