Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To rehabilitate fire suppression equipment for the Sea Turtle Science and Recovery (STSR) Lab at Padre Island National Seashore (PAIS), ensuring compliance with fire safety codes and restoring systems to full operational status.

• Reprogramming Waterflow Switches: Correct signaling from dry system waterflow switch (supervisory to alarm) and update EST IO64 panel configurations.

• Waterflow Switch Repair/Replacement: Address failed or non-compliant waterflow switches on dry systems.

• Gauge Replacement: Replace failed air/water gauges on sprinkler systems.

• ITM Tagging: Perform inspections and maintenance to issue 5-year and 3-year ITM tags for wet and dry risers.

• Backflow Prevention Assembly Repairs: Disassemble, rebuild (using manufacturer-approved kits), reassemble, and test Ames Colt 400N 4" and Ames LFCOLT 500N-BF 4" RP backflow devices per TCEQ Form 20700 requirements.

• Inspection Tag Correction: Upon completion, re-inspect systems, remove yellow tag, and issue green tag if applicable. Notify local fire safety representative.

• Technical Submittals: Provide shop drawings, product data, TCEQ forms, updated ITM tags, revised inspection reports, and confirmation of panel reprogramming and testing.

• Final Acceptance: Obtain acceptance from the National Park Service.

• Compliance with NFPA 25, NFPA 72, 2024 International Fire Code, and Texas state regulations.

• Safety: Submit a site-specific Accident Prevention Plan complying with OSHA. Report all accidents immediately.
