Eligibility & Qualifications
Bidders must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in elevator maintenance for high-rise buildings. Assigned mechanics/apprentices must be certified by IUEC or possess equivalent qualifications, with the primary mechanic having 5 years of experience on specific equipment types. Contractor employees require OSHA-approved safety training (10-hour for workers, 30-hour for supervisors) and VA Infectious Control training for those working over 40 hours.
