Sources Sought Synopsis

This is a sources sought synopsis, not a solicitation announcement, for the replacement of an AC Liebert Unit for the IT equipment room at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Alabama Health Care System (CAVHCS) in Montgomery, Alabama. The goal is to gather information on potential qualified sources and their business size classifications relative to NAICS code 238220.

• Removal and replacement of the indoor Liebert Unit and the outside condenser unit serving the IT room.

• Powering down and removal of the existing unit (indoor and outdoor).

• Placement of the new indoor unit in the designated location.

• Placement of the new outdoor condenser unit on the existing pad.

• Completion of initial startup and verification of proper unit operation.

• Adherence to all VA, OSHA, and EPA safety policies, procedures, standards, and regulations.

• Work to be performed during normal business hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday, excluding Federal Holidays).

• A one (1) year warranty on equipment and work.

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Priced (FFP).

• Performance Period: March 23, 2026, to August 3, 2026 (17 weeks after award date).

• Government furnished property will not be provided.

• Capability Statements must be submitted via email to terri.hudson@va.gov by March 20, 2026, no later than 2:00 PM EST.

• A site visit will be held between March 17, 2026, and March 25, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
