This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services to replace two 12-ton Air Handling Units (AHUs) in Building 500 at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. The existing AHUs are no longer serviceable.

• Replace two specific Trane Performance Climate Changer AHUs (Model UCCAA08C0J0RH032000000EAY00BB0000000B). No equivalents accepted.

• Lead time for equipment deliverables should not exceed 8 weeks.

• Tasks include: recovering existing refrigerant, rigging, disposal of units and materials (salvage rights reserved), providing labor and piping for new AHUs, re-insulating piping, installing strainers, circuit centers, actuators, auto purges, replacing thermostats, incorporating existing ductwork and electrical service, installing new condensate pans, incorporating existing condensate piping, and installing filters.

• Factory startup of the new AHUs is required.

• Integration to BAS is not applicable.

• Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time.

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price

• Period of Performance: 30 days (Note: SOW states 90 days, discrepancy noted).
