This is a Notice of Intent to award a Firm Fixed Price contract as a sole source procurement for Barrx Generator Services for the Salt Lake City VA Health Care System. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, intends to award this contract to COVIDIEN SALES LLC, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and sole authorized maintenance servicer and replacement repair parts provider for the Barrx Flex RFA Energy Generator.

The contract will cover planned maintenance service, corrective maintenance, and preventative maintenance for the Barrx Flex RFA Energy Generator (Model: FE3350X, Serial: EE #82732). Services include:

• Full-service coverage (corrective and preventative maintenance).

• No additional charges for shipping, parts, labor, or travel.

• Provision of functionally equivalent loaner equipment upon request.

• All software version upgrades at no additional charge.

• Coverage and Preventive Maintenance Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm MDT, excluding Federal holidays.

• Response Times: Support Monday-Friday 0800-1700 local time, with a response within 24 business hours.

This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties who believe they can meet the government's needs must identify their interest and capability by March 25th, 2026, 12:00 PM Central Standard Time. Sources Sought Synopsis

This document is a Sources Sought synopsis from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 19. It seeks to identify potential sources for a service agreement for Energy Generator Maintenance at the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center (SLCVA). The primary goal is to gauge market interest and identify qualified sources, including their business size classifications (HUBZone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, or large business) relative to NAICS code 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, $34 Million Size Standard).

• Service: Full-service maintenance contract for a Barrx Flex RFA Energy Generator, including preventative maintenance (PM) and onsite repairs.

• Scope: Covers the generator, generator software, footswitch, and output cable.

• Inclusions: All labor, transportation, recertification, materials, equipment, tools, software, and disposal.

• Period of Performance: Base year (4/1/2026 - 3/31/2027) with two option years.
