Scope of Work
The contract requires comprehensive annual validation services for the Rees Scientific environmental monitoring system. This includes:
- System Testing: Verification, calibration, and documentation of all system functions, including readings, databases, alarms, dial-outs, outputs, reports, and user programming.
- Maintenance & Support: Annual onsite service, 24/7 technical support, and provision of one validation kit per year for systems with REES Software Ver. 3.0.
- Preventative Maintenance: Annual preventative maintenance using manufacturer-recommended documentation and checklists.
- Calibration & Updates: Calibration of Temperature and Humidity sensors using NIST traceable equipment, and necessary software updates.
- Access Control: Provision of access control Proms for additional reader controllers (card readers not included).
- Performance Standards: Contractor must provide printouts of checked systems, a preventative maintenance checklist, and written sensor calibration/PM documentation to the Government before leaving the site. Annual PM and access control validation are to be completed within 2-3 business days.

Additional Notes
Contractors must participate in the Occupational Health and Safety Program for Animal Studies, including a health questionnaire and clearance to enter the Animal facility. The contractor will be escorted and will not have access to VA systems or sensitive information.
