Scope of Work
The contractor will provide full maintenance services, including scheduled preventive maintenance (PM), inspections, periodic testing, corrective call-back services, and emergency repairs. This encompasses all resources such as parts, materials, labor, and tools. Key requirements include:
- Preventive Maintenance: Regular inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and part replacements for all listed equipment. Quarterly service for ice machines and soda fountain machines, including bi-annual filter changes. Initial assessment and PM are required.
- Corrective & Emergency Services: 12-hour, 5-day per week call-back support with after-hours emergency services. Response to issues within six hours (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday). Next-day/24-hour repair for refrigerators/freezers, and 48-hour for other equipment.
- Parts: Use of new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts only. A contingency allowance of $2,500 for parts is included.
- Compliance: All work must adhere to manufacturer guidelines and applicable industry standards.
- Reporting: Detailed inspection reports within seven business days, with emergent repairs identified within 24 hours.
- Training: Provide guidance and training to VCS staff on specialized cleaning if equipment has been neglected.
