Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for providing four (4) passenger coach buses, with the capability to provide an additional four (4) buses within 24 hours' notice. Services are required 12 hours per day, 7 days per week, and include furnishing all labor, vehicles, fuel, maintenance, and management. Specific transportation missions include:
- On-Base Transportation: Pick-up from JBMDL Passenger Terminal and transport to the Deployment Transition Center (DTC).
- Airport Transportation: Two (2) daily round trips to Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and two (2) daily round trips to Newark International Airport (EWR).
- Daily Outings: One (1) bus to Center City Philadelphia, PA, and one (1) bus to American Dream Mall, NJ, each including a 5-hour stay.
Performance Standards
Buses must comply with NJDOT safety requirements, have functioning climate control, be clean, well-maintained, have sufficient seating, operational luggage storage, and ADA-compliant features if necessary. Drivers must hold a valid CDL, pass background checks for JBMDL access, comply with FMCSA and state driving regulations, and maintain a professional appearance. Performance will be evaluated via a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
