Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide non-personal services for catered meals for cadets and cadre conducting the Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) Keweenaw.

• Provide meals for 75 cadets and 25 cadre.

• Services include meal preparation, serving, and cleanup.

• Contractor to furnish all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, management, supervision, and labor, except for government-furnished items.

• Specific tasks include setting up serving lines, providing utensils, plates, cups, condiments, napkins, ice, and ensuring trash removal and sanitation.

• Develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP).

• Inform the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) of issues or potential issues affecting performance within 24 hours.

• Meals must be ready 15 minutes prior to serving time and kept hot.

• Cleanup and sanitation required after each meal service.

• Performance will be evaluated under a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).

• Period of Performance: May 25, 2026, to June 12, 2026.

• Training Cycle: June 8, 2026, to June 12, 2026.

• Place of Performance: Calumet Colosseum, 110 Red Jacket Road, Calumet, MI 49913.

• Contractor personnel must wear clean clothing, not offensive to military standards.

• Accommodations for vegetarian meals are required.

• Peanut butter ingredients must be visibly identified.

• Final menu to be coordinated with the Government POC.

• A Resource Working Group will convene on May 25, 2026.

• A minimum of two serving lines are required for each meal.

• Contractor must set up all equipment 30 minutes prior to serving time.

• Michigan Compiled Law MCL - Act 92 of 2000; Food Law applies to food safety.
