Quick Summary

The Department of the Army is conducting market research via a Request for Information (RFI) for Joint Service General Protective Masks (JSGPM) M50, M51, and M53A1 and their spare components. The purpose is to identify industry capabilities for potential contract awards for Fiscal Years 2027-2031. Responses are due June 12, 2026, by 1430 EST.

Purpose & Scope

This RFI seeks to determine industry capabilities to produce and provide spare components for the JSGPM family, including the M50, M51, M53, and M53A1 mask systems. The U.S. Government (USG) is planning for future contract awards and aims to identify sources capable of meeting requirements without significant cost duplication or delay. • Produce new M50, M51, and M53A1 mask systems according to attached performance specifications.
  • Produce spare components for M50, M51, M53, and M53A1 mask systems according to attached performance specifications.
  • Produce the M53 gasket (NSN: 5330-01-530-1002) to support fielded M53 mask systems.
