The contractor will be responsible for providing all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment to modernize the fiber optic and network infrastructure at the CRM Museum (Building 313) and Secondary CRM Building (Building 657a). Key tasks include:

  • Fiber Optic Network Cable Plant: Installation of multi-mode, armored fiber optic cable, connectors, and enclosures. This involves replacing existing conduit, installing underground vaults, innerducts, and 12-strand OSP inter-building fiber cable.
  • Telecommunication Racks: Installation of wall-mounted, lockable telecommunication racks in both buildings.
  • Cabling: Furnishing and installing outdoor-rated, waterproof, UV resistant, shielded Cat 6 Ethernet cabling from racks to workstations.
