  • Replacement and construction of new interior sewer piping below both floors of the Visitor Center.
  • Reworking of the exterior lift station and valve vault with new interior and electrical components.
  • Installation of a new exterior septic system, including septic tank(s), cleanouts, distribution box, and absorption trenches.
  • Removal and disposal of all existing system components.
  • Coordination with park staff to minimize disruptions, considering the site's archaeological sensitivity.
  • Adherence to detailed specifications, construction drawings (Civil, Plumbing, Electrical), and geotechnical recommendations.

Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract.
  • Magnitude: Estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
  • Period of Performance: 120 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Work impacting the existing system must be completed after Labor Day.
  • Bonds: A Bid Guarantee (20% of bid price, not to exceed $3M) is required. Performance and Payment Bonds (100% of original contract price) are also required.
