  • Mowing: Maintaining cool-season grasses at 2.5–3.5 inches and warm-season grasses at 1–2 inches, adhering to the 1/3 Rule, changing mowing patterns, using sharpened blades, mulching clippings, and avoiding wet conditions.
  • Weed Eating: Trimming areas inaccessible to mowers, such as around fences, foundations, trees, signs, and mailboxes.
  • Cleanup: Removing clippings and debris from sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and flower beds, and blowing plant material away from buildings and hardscapes.
  • Debris Disposal: Contractor is responsible for off-site disposal of mowed vegetation, unless coordinated with the COR.
  • Safety: Workers must wear protective equipment, and operations are generally limited to typical business hours.

Contract Details

  • Period of Performance: One (1) base year and four (4) one-year option periods, not to exceed five (5) years total.
