Scope of Work
FEMA requires professional language services, including in-person, over-the-phone, and virtual interpretation, between English and Central Alaskan Yup'ik. Services will be provided in Anchorage, Bethel, and other communities impacted by ex-Typhoon Halong. Interpreters will support meetings, phone calls, video calls, one-on-one interactions, media events, and sight interpretation of documents.
- Estimated Hours: 220 hours for over-the-phone/virtual interpretation and 120 hours for in-person on-site interpretation (billable only for actual hours worked).
- Working Hours: Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., subject to change. Over-the-phone interpretation is currently performed on Thursdays.
