Key requirements include:
- Ensuring all disposition activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Executing work only after systems are de-energized and disconnected.
- Maintaining full property accountability, safety performance, and environmental compliance.
- Developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Execution Planning Approach.
- Validating site readiness using an FAA-approved checklist.
- Coordinating handling, containment, and transport of hazardous or radioactive materials.
- Disposing of or recycling all equipment at facilities with Responsible Recycling (R2) Certification.
- Preparing and submitting comprehensive Disposition Documentation and Monthly Progress Reports.
- Strictly adhering to FAA facility security protocols, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations (RCRA, EPA, DOT).
