Scope of Work
The requirement is for a 55-ton lowboy haul trailer with specific design features:
- Gooseneck: Hydraulic Removable (HRG) design, 50-inch loaded 5th wheel height, max 110-inch swing radius (98-inch alternate).
- Power: Honda (or equivalent) gas engine power package with PTO, pony motor engine cover, and controls on the gooseneck side.
- Deck: Four-beam design, at least 26ft (25.5ft clear) length, 8.5ft max width, minimum 8in loaded road clearance, 24in loaded deck height. Apitong flooring, secured with deck screws.
- Axles & Suspension: Three 25,000lb capacity axles, with air lift on the third axle. Air suspension and air-actuated brakes with spring brakes on at least one axle.
- Wheels & Tires: Ten-stud steel disc hub piloted system with oil seals, twelve 255/70R22.5 tires.
- Additional Features: 12in swing and removable outriggers, horizontal pin and plate gooseneck/deck connection, fixed/welded deck and rear bridge connection, heavy-duty front folding ramps (42in max) with traction bars, boom well with recessed cross members and bucket pan in the rear bridge center section, wide center bolster with flag holder and chain slots, 12V LED lighting (including mid-turn lights, license plate light, two rear strobes with switch), battery pack for strobes/lights when gooseneck is disconnected, black paint, at least 8 bent-style lash rings per side of deck and 1 per side of rear bridge main beams, flag holders, 55-ton capacity in a 16ft section, built-in tool box, 2-position removable king pin, and single wheel removable covers.
