Scope of Work
This opportunity requires annual State and Qualification of Elevator Inspectors (Q.E.I.) inspections, monthly evaluations, preventive maintenance, and repairs for six elevators and two wheelchair lifts. Services include unscheduled repairs on a Time & Material (T&M) basis (with a not-to-exceed yearly amount of $20,000) and the purchase and installation of four UPS batteries in the base year. All work must adhere to American National Safety Code for Elevators and Dumbwaiters (ANSI) A17.1, Inspector's Manual (ANSI) A17.2, ASME Q.E.I. standards, and the National Electrical Code. Services will be performed at various locations within Lowell National Historical Park, including Boott Mill Building #6, Kirk St. Agents House, Mogan Cultural Center, Market Mills (Visitor Center and LTC), and Wannalancit Mills.
Contract Details

Key Requirements
- Offerors must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of experience on elevators and ADA lifts.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience installing UPS batteries is required.
- Mechanics must be Massachusetts licensed, and the elevator contractor foreman must possess valid OSHA 30 certification.
- The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, supervision, tools, materials, and incidentals.
