Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

Demolish and remove three existing flush toilet buildings and associated septic systems, and install three new vault toilets with associated site work at the Lynx Lake Recreation Area in Prescott, Arizona.

• Demolish and dispose of two pre-cast concrete flush toilet buildings at Lynx Lake Campground (Loop B and Loop E) and one at Lynx Lake North Shore.

• Remove and decommission two septic tanks at the Lynx Campground.

• Remove utilities and cap sewer lines at Lynx Lake North Shore.

• Remove concrete sidewalk at Lynx Lake North Shore.

• Relocate electric meter at Lynx Lake North Shore.

• Install three new pre-cast concrete vault toilets at the existing footprints of the removed buildings.

• Site work includes new sidewalks, capping water utilities, and relocation of electrical service.

• Work to be completed between November 1st and February 28th.

• Lynx Campground is closed to the public from November 1st through March 31st.

• Lynx North Shore is open year-round.

• Contractor is responsible for coordinating Arizona 811 prior to excavation.

• Contractor shall provide an OSHA 30-HR certified safety inspector, site superintendent, quality control representative, and traffic control supervisor.

• Protection of natural resources: Confine operations to work limits, prevent damage to surroundings, restore damaged areas, and repair/replace damaged trees and plants at no additional expense.

• Archaeological sites and discovery: Work must cease if undocumented cultural resources are encountered, and USFS archaeologists must be notified.

• Protection against theft and vandalism is the contractor's responsibility.
