Scope of Work
This requirement is for the provision of security screening equipment and operators for Navy District Washington (NDW) Special Events. The contractor will be responsible for the rental, delivery, set-up, installation, calibration, servicing, and teardown/removal of all provided equipment. Key deliverables include:
- 6 Walkthrough Metal Detectors (Magnetometers)
- 6 Hand-Held Security Wands
- 24 Pocket Item Trays
- 6 Floor mats with footprint outlines
- 3 Security notice signs ("Metal Detector in Use")
- Provision of operators for the equipment, working from 0900 to 1700 on Saturday and Sunday.
- Equipment must be capable of screening for weapons/threatening devices commensurate with TSA screening protocols.
