Objective

The primary objective is to restore the Aljon 400XL baler, currently experiencing operational deficiencies due to a lack of preventative maintenance, to full operational capability. This will enable the efficient compaction and baling of recyclable materials at the MCAGCC Twentynine Palms.

Scope of Work

The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, and incidentals to perform:

  • Full diagnostics on the Aljon 400XL Logger Baler.
  • Comprehensive preventive maintenance, including replacing fluids, filters, seals, and gaskets.
  • Repair of diagnosed engine issues.
  • Rebuilding or replacement of leaking hydraulic cylinders.
  • Furnishing and installation of replacement parts meeting or exceeding Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications.
  • Disposal of removed materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
  • Operational testing for a minimum of two (2) hours to verify functionality, ensuring no malfunctions, abnormal vibration, belt slippage, or misalignment.
  • A minimum twelve (12) month warranty on all parts and labor is required.
