Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work outlines the requirements for maintaining the Pearce Ferry Road and its associated launch ramp within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Arizona. The primary goal is to ensure the road remains in good condition for safe access for park employees and visitors, particularly for river raft expeditions.

• Option A (Grading of NPS Furnished Aggregate): Loading, transporting, spreading, and grading government-furnished Type II aggregate to smooth the road surface, recontour crown and super-elevations, and reestablish ditches.

• Option B (Delivery and Grading of Aggregate Material): Procuring and delivering Type 2 Aggregate Road Base, then spreading and grading it to smooth the road surface, recontour crown and super-elevations, and reestablish ditches.

• Option C (Monsoon / Storm Recovery): Providing equipment and operators for recovery efforts after major monsoon storms, including site visits, estimates for repair, and grading to reestablish the road prism.

• The project is located on Pearce Ferry Road at Lake Mead National Recreation Area near Meadview, Arizona.

• The period of performance is a base year plus four option years.

• Government-Furnished Items: Water for dust control and road aggregate base may be provided by the government.
