The work necessitates the use of a mechanical dredge with an environmental clamshell bucket.

Copies of these permits must be displayed on the dredge. The contractor is also responsible for submitting a "Notice of Intent to Commence Dredging" 15 days prior to starting work and a "Notice of Completion of Dredging" 15 days after completion.
