Scope of Work
The project involves significant airfield pavement work. This includes the removal of approximately 53,000 SY of 15-18 inch PCC pavement and replacement with 55,200 SY of 18-inch PCC and 9,600 SY of 12-inch PCC pavement. New PCC pavement must adhere to stringent military airfield requirements, including specific aggregate limits, severe weather classification, and durability for freezing and thawing. Additionally, approximately 10,000 SY of 2-inch hot-mix asphalt pavement will be removed and replaced with 1,800 SY of 6.5-inch hot-mix asphalt. Associated work encompasses joint sealant installation, removal and replacement of cathodic protection test pits, pavement marking, seeding, and minor grading.

Eligibility & Submission
This notice targets PRIME CONTRACTORS ONLY. Interested firms must demonstrate a company bonding capability (single job) of at least $34 million. Small Businesses are advised that FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, will apply. Respondents must submit a narrative (max 5 pages) detailing experience in similar projects, including company information (CAGE, UEI, NAICS, SBA classification, SAM status), past federal work, confirmation of interest, business size, teaming arrangements, and specific capacity for Performance and Payment Bonds.
