Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To enhance the operational efficiency and service delivery of the Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) Furniture Section by providing qualified material handling personnel to supplement the existing government workforce. The primary goal is to reduce the average completion time for Furniture Work Requests (FWRs) from 4-6 months to 2-4 months, enabling the completion of approximately 600 additional FWRs annually and reducing the existing backlog.

• Provide non-personal services for material handling facilities support.

• Services include furniture set up, re-configuration, and area changes.

• Receiving and processing of materials for furniture and workplace support projects.

• Unloading, segregating, and verifying furniture items for accuracy.

• Storing stock in appropriate bins and/or storage locations, correcting and updating bin labels.

• Storing and stacking materials according to established warehousing plans.

• Managing and supporting ergonomic furniture movement and general repairs.

• Conducting inventory of stock and submitting replenishment requests.

• Participating in warehouse operations and projects as a truck driver or Forklift Operator when required.

• Coordinating modification work orders and furniture arrangement requests, potentially requiring work outside of regular business hours, including weekends, to ensure patient care is not degraded.

• Fulfill a minimum of 80% of all requested shifts.

• Maintain a personnel turnover rate not exceeding 20% within any 12-month period.

• No safety injuries or violations per quarter.

• No more than 2 work orders completed outside of core duty hours.
