Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the complete installation of updated medical air gas and piping systems. Key requirements include:
- Furnishing and installing new Amico 3 gas, OAV 3/4," 3/4," 1" zone valve boxes.
- Furnishing and installing new Amico LCD area alarm panels (excluding electrical and low voltage work, which the VA will handle).
- Furnishing and installing new Amico DISS outlets/inlets (O2, MA, MV, and slide) in each of the ten ER Fast Track rooms.
- Providing all necessary labor, materials, supplies, engineering, start-up services, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and debris removal.
- Obtaining and coordinating services of all third-party contractors.
- Ensuring compliance with VA guidelines, best construction practices, building codes, manufacturer's instructions, and VHA 01-35-26 safety requirements.
- Obtaining all required licenses and permits.
- Adhering to VA personnel security and suitability program requirements, including background investigations and PIV cards.
- Complying with infection control measures.
- Work is primarily during normal VA operating hours, with potential for approved night/weekend work.
