  • Quality Assurance: Quality assurance requirements are detailed in the IRPOD. The contractor must establish and maintain an inspection system acceptable to the Government.
  • Packaging: Packaging must comply with MIL-PRF-23199 and MIL-DTL-24466 green poly bags under specific cleanliness controls (e.g., MIL-STD-767, MIL-STD-2041, Refueling Clean, Reactor Plant Clean). Fire retardant packaging is no longer required. MIL-STD 2073 also applies. The packaging label must clearly state the nomenclature as "METER, PRESSURE."

Submission Details

  • Certificate of Compliance: A separate Certificate of Compliance (per DI-MISC-81356) is required for each unique Contract/Purchase Order Number, National Stock Number, and Item Nomenclature, to be submitted to NAVSUP-WSS code N9433 at the time of material delivery.
