Scope of Work
The project involves the new construction of a 57,955 SF Missile Munitions Distribution Facility (MMDF) warehouse, which includes a 4,614 SF canopy on the inbound dock side, and associated administrative support functions. Adjacent to the MMDF, a 568 SF Vehicle Storage Building (VSB) will be constructed for charging and storing forklifts. Associated site development includes earthwork, Best Management Practices (BMPs), fencing, roadways, and hardstand areas for munitions loading and unloading.
Additionally, the project includes the new construction of a Rail Classification Yard (RCY), consisting of approximately 8,000 LF of rail siding and a "Suspect Track" for monitoring and inspecting compromised rail cars. Adjacent to the RCY, a 327 SF Munitions Operations Management Building (MOMB) will be built for administrative duties related to the classification yard. Associated site development for the RCY includes earthwork, culvert extensions, unpaved roadways, and rail beds.
