Quick Summary
This Presolicitation Notice announces the government's intent to solicit for three (3) Mobile Welding Machines and three (3) Trailers for delivery to Kaiserslautern, Germany. Funds are available, and an award will be made based on acceptable and conforming offers. Responses are encouraged by May 1, 2026.
Scope of Work
The requirement is for three mobile, engine-driven welding systems with true DC constant current/constant voltage (CC/CV) output across all welding processes (Stick, MIG, flux-cored, DC TIG) without external modules or reconfiguration. The systems must provide simultaneous, independent weld output and high-capacity generator power (12,000 peak watts/10,000 watts continuous, 1-phase, 120/240VA & 50hz) without derating. Welders must support air carbon arc gouging with 3/16-inch electrodes, provide high open-circuit voltage for reliable arc starts, and be diesel powered.
