Quick Summary
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWCAD Lakehurst), intends to award a sole-source, Fixed-Price contract to AVIOSS, LLC for the production and delivery of Lift Table Assemblies (P/N 4106AS0381-1) for the MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Program. This is a Presolicitation / Notice of Intent to identify if any other responsible sources can provide this Critical Safety Item (CSI). Alternate offerors must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package within 15 days of the publication date (May 7, 2026) to be considered.
Scope of Work
This procurement is for the manufacturing and delivery of the Lift Table Assembly, Part Number (P/N) 4106AS0381-1. This assembly is designated as a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and is essential for the MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Program of the United States Navy.
Contract & Timeline
- Type: Fixed-Price (Sole-Source Intent)
- Justification: Sole-source under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) / FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) due to AVIOSS, LLC being the only approved source for this CSI. An audit for new sources would cause an unacceptable 12-month delay.
- Set-Aside: None specified
- SAR Package Due: May 22, 2026 (15 days from May 7, 2026)
- Published: May 7, 2026
Evaluation
Responses, specifically Source Approval Request (SAR) packages, will be evaluated by the Technical Authority (NAWCAD Lakehurst) to determine if any alternate offerors can become a qualified source. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will use responses to determine if a competitive procurement is feasible.
Additional Notes
To be considered as an alternate source, companies must submit a comprehensive SAR package including:
- Configuration drawings and test procedures for similar items produced within the last three years.
- Complete process/operation sheets, including subcontractor details.
- Purchase orders/shipping documents for similar items delivered to OEM or Military service.
- Detailed comparative analysis between similar parts and the required part.
