Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation is for Municipal Waste Disposal Services for the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks (VHSO) in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The contractor will be responsible for the collection, transport, and disposal of solid waste, as well as recycling of cardboard, scrap ferrous and nonferrous metals, wooden pallets, and commingled plastic and aluminum.

• Furnish and maintain contractor-owned 30-yard roll-off containers for various waste streams.

• Scheduled collection of solid waste three times weekly (Mon/Wed/Fri).

• Scheduled collection of unbaled cardboard twice weekly (Mon/Thu).

• Collection of scrap ferrous/nonferrous metals every other week.

• Collection of wooden shipping pallets and commingled plastics/aluminum monthly.

• Provide monthly tonnage reporting with weight tickets.

• Maintain 24/7 emergency response capability with on-site arrival within two hours of notification.

• Comply with all VA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable State/local directives, policies, laws, and regulations.
