Purpose & Scope
The NFSC II contract will succeed the current NFSC contract, providing essential fire services to protect personnel, property, and environmental resources at NASA centers including Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Ames Research Center (ARC), Wallops Flight Facility (WFF), White Sands Test Facility (WSTF), Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), and Stennis Space Center (SSC).
The scope of work, as outlined in the preliminary Draft PWS, includes:
- Fire Operations and Fire Fighting: Responding to fire and medical emergencies, technical rescue, hazardous material response, casualty rescue, aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF), and hydrant testing.
- Emergency Medical Services-Paramedic (Advanced Life Support): Providing advanced medical skills for life-threatening conditions.
- Fire Protection Engineering: Addressing construction types, occupancy, facility separation, water supplies, alarm/suppression systems, and life safety.
- Fire Prevention Inspection Program: Inspections, hazard identification, and hot work permits.

Services are required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year.

Requirements & Special Conditions
