The government will furnish approximately 3500 tons (2500 cubic yards) of aggregate material and perform roadbed preparation, spreading, reshaping, and grading.
The contractor's scope includes:
- Base Bid Items: Mobilization/Demobilization, Loader with Operator (minimum 5 cubic yard bucket), three Dump Trucks with Operators (10-12 cubic yard capacity each), and a Vibratory Smooth Drum Roller with Operator (minimum 50-inch compaction width). All equipment operators are paid per operating hour.
- Option Bid Item: A Water Tender with Operator (2000-3000 gallon capacity) to support aggregate reshaping and compaction.
