Scope of Work

This project involves comprehensive wood floor restoration services for the Township Hall. Key tasks include:

  • Refinishing approximately 2,350 square feet of oak strip wood flooring in the main room.
  • Addressing condensation damage by creating a 1/2 inch chamfered perimeter relief cut along exterior walls (approx. 175 linear feet).
  • Repairing or replacing damaged wood planks and subfloor (estimated 5 sq ft each).
  • Removing existing finishes and sanding the floor to achieve a smooth surface.
  • Applying three coats of water-based BONA HD high-traffic clear polyurethane with a Commercial Satin sheen.
  • Installing new baseboards at exterior perimeter walls, matching existing wood paneling specifications (3/4 inch thick by 5.5 inches tall).
  • Protecting existing historic features and items within the hall during construction.
