Opportunity Overview
The NIH Clinical Center, the nation's largest hospital devoted to clinical research, requires dedicated MSA staffing. MSAs will support patient care and research by handling front-line customer service, reception, registration, scheduling, patient travel processing, and various administrative tasks within a 24/7/365 operational environment.
Scope of Work
This contract covers two primary tasks:
- Task 1: Nursing Department MSA – Provision of dedicated contract personnel for administrative support within the Nursing Department, including scheduling, registration, patient records, clinical support, and material management.
- Task 2: PSSD MSA – Provision of administrative support to admissions, inpatient/outpatient care areas, and other patient support services within the PSSD, focusing on customer service, appointments, reception, and patient travel.
Personnel must have a minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience with patients and basic medical terminology knowledge. They are considered "emergency essential" personnel.

Key Requirements
Contractor personnel must comply with security and privacy regulations, including background investigations (up to Public Trust - High Risk), and adhere to NIH policies on electronic mail, confidentiality, and infectious disease control. A Structured, Stackable Shift Differential Pay Plan is required for off-shift coverage.
