Scope of Work
The contractor will Engineer, Furnish, Install, and Test (EFI&T) 48 CAT6A network drops and two 24-strand Multi-Mode (MM) fiber optic cables within Building 15177. Key tasks include:
- Installing a 48-port modular patch panel in Comm Room 006, Rack C.
- Installing 40 CAT6A data cables and jacks from Comm Room 006 to Room 002, and 8 CAT6A data cables and jacks from Comm Room 006 to Room 005.
- Installing specific wall penetrations, sleeves, and approximately 65 feet of J-hooks.
- Installing two 24-strand Aqua MM fiber optic cables from Comm Room 006 to Comm Room 202 and Comm Room 120, including LC cassettes and termination on new Fiber Optic Distribution Panels (FODPs).
- All work must adhere to the 96th Communications Squadron Cyber Infrastructure Standards and Installation Specifications (CISIS), covering standards for patch panels, work area outlets, horizontal cable, fiber, grounding, labeling, and testing.
Performance Standards & Deliverables
All testing must comply with OFSTP-14, OFSTP-7, TIA-568-C.3, and TIA-526-7, with test equipment calibrated within one year. Required deliverables include ISP/OSP copper/fiber test reports and As-Built drawings in .PDF format. The Government will witness 10% sample testing, expanding to 100% if failures occur, and conduct a final QC inspection. Discrepancies must be corrected within five duty days.
