Scope of Work

- All aluminum welding must conform to AWS D1.2, and stainless steel welding to AWS D1.6.
- Contractors must submit welding procedures and welder qualifications (AWS D1.2) prior to fabrication.
- Vendor-supplied material certifications are required for all aluminum materials.
- A hull pressure test (NDBC-8090) is mandatory, with the government requiring two weeks' prior notification.
- A first article of the mast must be produced and delivered for inspection before the fabrication of the remaining units.
- Shipping to NDBC, Stennis Space Center, MS, must be included in the cost.
