Scope of Work

Lodging facility requirements include:
- Located no more than 15 minutes drive time or 5 road miles from NWSTC (7220 NW 101st Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64153).
- Suite-style rooms (minimum 180 sq ft excluding bathroom) with at least one bedroom, sitting area, kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, stovetop, table), and private bath.
- Rooms must be cleaned at least every other day, have modern TVs with cable, free WiFi, smoke/heat detectors, and sprinkler systems.
- On-site or nearby public restaurant (within 0.1 mile) open 7 days/week, offering special menus/dietary food.
- Free parking, common room (min 200 sq ft), meeting rooms (size 12-50), laundry facilities, and a business center.
- Minimum of two handicap accessible rooms. Swimming pool and recreational facilities are desirable.
Transportation requirements include:
- Shuttle services to and from a nearby restaurant (if not on premises), a local mall/shopping area, and Kansas City International Airport.
- Vehicles must have heating/cooling (65°-80°F), be handicap accessible, and covered by "Bodily Injury Liability" insurance.
- Drivers must have appropriate licenses and satisfactory records; private vehicles are prohibited for student transport.
