This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the purchase and delivery of F-35 Weight and Balance Roll-on Aircraft Scales to Misawa Air Base, Japan. The government reserves the right to make award to the responsible vendor whose offer is most advantageous, considering price.

• Item 0001: Intercomp AC30-60 RFX 4-120 Platform Scale System or equal. This includes:

  • Four (4) RFX Intrinsically Platform Scales with Self-Contained Display
  • Four (4) Ramps
  • Four (4) Tire Stops
  • One (1) Transport Cart

• Item 0002: Direct Shipping to Misawa Air Base, Japan.

• Scales must meet or exceed specifications of the Intercomp AC30-60 RFX 4-120 Platform Scale System.

• Four scales, each with 30,000 lbs. (15,000 kg) capacity.

• Safe Overload Accuracy: 150% of capacity.

• Accuracy: Meets Mil Spec of ±0.1% of applied load or 5 lbs., whichever is greater.

• Overall Scale Dimensions: 34"x34"x4" (NOT Low Profile). Scale height must be 4 inches.

Statement of Objective (SOO)

This document outlines the objectives for the acquisition of two (2) AC30-60 RFX 4-120 Platform Scale Systems. These scales are intended for use with F-35 aircraft at Misawa Air Base, Japan, to ensure safety, comply with aviation regulations, and optimize efficiency for the 35 MXG.
