Scope of Work
This solicitation requires the manufacture of a Nut in accordance with General Dynamics drawing 2641-807-01, item 22A, using ASTM-B505, Alloy C90300 material. Welding is not permitted on UNS C90300 material, and all items must be mercury-free. The contract will be a "DO" rated order under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) and utilizes Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities (EAF).

Quality Assurance & Submission
Offerors must maintain a quality system in accordance with ISO-9001 (amplified herein) and calibration system requirements of ISO-10012 or ANSI-Z540.3 with ISO-17025 (or MIL-I-45208 with MIL-STD-4). Government Quality Assurance will be performed at the source. Traceability and certification requirements (DI-MISC-81020, DI-MISC-80678) are critical, with certifications for chemical and mechanical analysis, and test results, required to be submitted via Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (Ship to N50286, Inspect by N39040, Accept by N39040). Past performance will be considered in the evaluation. Waivers/Deviations and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) require specific procedures and Contracting Officer approval. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD 2073.
