- Testing & Certification: Requires quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis, ultrasonic inspection, and dye penetrant inspection. Slow Strain Rate Tensile Tests must be performed by approved laboratories. Comprehensive certifications are mandatory for all tests and materials.
- Quality Assurance: Contractors must maintain a quality system compliant with ISO-9001 (amplified) and ISO-10012 or ANSI-Z540.3 with ISO-17025. Government Quality Assurance (GQA) at source is required.
